LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The woman accused of setting a series of fires – burning holiday decorations, flags, and motorcycles – was arraigned on 18 new charges Saturday, bringing her total to 45.
Linda Gail Lee now faces 25 counts of first-degree arson, 1 count of second-degree arson, 1 count of third-degree arson and 18 counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
"About half of these are random. The other half involve property where she had a beef with the person that owned the property," said Major Henry Ott with Louisville Metro Arson.
On Monday, fire crews were called to a duplex fire on Belmar Drive. Investigators said Lee started the fire and made the mistake of sticking around.
"I think that she was glad that she got caught and she admitted that she was dangerous woman," Ott said.
Lee is due in court on June 30.
