Toyota has chosen the Thelma B. Johnson Early Learning Center as a site for is "born-learning" academy.
The program is part of Toyota's effort in helping prepare students for Kindergarten.
This is the second school in the district to be a part of the program. The other school is South Heights.
Anthony Melvin has children who did the program at South Heights and says its very beneficial.
"I think it just makes them more aware of everyday things so it's not just playing outside to play outside, they ask more questions, they love reading books, they point to the pictures and ask questions about the books and different things like that," says Melvin.
The program won't cost the district anything.
If you're interested in signing your child up, registration is July 7th at Thelma B. Johnson.
