LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The person wanted in connection with a shooting that killed a 19-year-old man and left his sister in critical condition has been arrested.
Dwight Mitchell, a Louisville Metro Police Department spokesman, said Quenton Huddleston, 22, was found by officers with the VIPER Unit early June 19.
Huddleston is the suspect in the June 17 murder of Joshua Gordon. Officers said Gordon was killed and his 25-year-old sister suffered a gunshot wound to the face during the shooting in the 5200 block of Shepherdsville Road.
Neighbors say Huddleston and the woman had been in a relationship. Police say there is a history of domestic violence between Huddleston and the woman.
Lt. Sean Jackman said Huddleston was found hiding at a home in the 1600 block of S. 30th Street around 1 a.m. He was in a crawlspace under the front porch. Jackman said a police K-9 was sent into the space to remove Huddleston.
After being treated at University Hospital for dog bites suffered during his arrest, Huddleston was booked at Louisville Metro Corrections. He is charged with murder, attempted murder, burglary, stalking, two counts of violating an EPO/DVO, wanton endangerment and probation violation.
Huddleston will be arraigned June 20.
