JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Delta Cleary's professional baseball journey now has him a step away from the majors.

The Jonesboro native was called up Saturday to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. He's made a impressive AAA debut so far, recording 4 RBI in his first eleven at-bats.

Cleary was 2-for-3 with 2 RBI and a steal in a 12-4 loss Saturday to the Salt Lake City Bees. On Sunday, he had another two-hit game as the Sky Sox won 4-3. Cleary had a RBI single in the 5th. In Monday's series finale, he went 1-for-4 with another RBI single.
