CHRISTIAN COUNTY, KY (WSMV) -

A man was found dead underneath a car in Christian County on Friday morning.

Christian County Sheriff's Office deputies were called to the scene of the crash at 5:30 a.m.

Accident reconstructionist Deputy Lyn Moe says the car was heading north on the 4000 block of Highway 115 when it ran off the right side of the road and lost control.

Police say the car then crashed through a fence and flipped over and ejecting the driver, causing him to be crushed by the vehicle.

The coroner pronounced the man dead at the scene. He was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

The victim was identified as Deremy L. Wilson, 27, of Hopkinsville.

Deputies said they found bottles of alcohol in the vehicle and will be testing the victim's blood to see if alcohol contributed to the crash.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to police.
