Former Henderson youth pastor convicted in Colorado

HENDERSON, KY (WFIE) -

Former Henderson youth pastor, John Brothers, was found guilty in Steamboat Springs, CO on 16 counts of sexual abuse on a child under 15

Sentencing is September 19th.

Brothers is also facing two counts of sexual abuse in Henderson County after incident that happened in 2011 while working at Hyland Baptist Church.

The trial date in Henderson County is September 30th.

    According to Randolph County Sheriff Gary Tribble, a person was being held Sunday in the Randolph County jail after being taken into custody by Arkansas State Police in connection with the deaths of two people.
