Storms pack punch

A powerful storm system with hurricane force winds roars through the tri-state with several reports of funnel clouds and tornadoes in Western Kentucky. Around the region, some vehicles were blown over. There were also power outages along with hail, flash flooding and downed trees.

All quiet, foggy?

The severe weather threat is over for at least the next several days as a front has stalled over the Kentucky-Tennessee border. Rainfall the past 3-days averaged 1 to 3 inches. Cooler today and less humid with high temperatures sinking into the upper 70s.  There could be some fog this morning. Byron has the complete 14 First Alert forecast.
