EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Evansville Police are searching for a man they say stabbed a woman during a domestic situation in the 2100 block of Ravenswood Drive.

According to EPD, they are looking for 43-year-old Titus Chambers. He's described as a black man, standing 5 foot 6 inches tall, short length dreads, wearing a blue green white striped polo, who ran from the scene.

Police say they were called out to a domestic violence run, and when they showed up, there was a woman with multiple stab wounds in the chest. She was taken to a local hospital and is described to be in stable condition.

14News spoke with one neighbor who said they saw a struggle between a man and woman. The neighbor said she came outside and saw the man run away. She says she saw a lady with a blood stain on her chest and then went next door to call police.
