A woman is in jail after authorities say she led them on a high speed chase overnight.

The Henderson County Sheriff's Office says deputies tried to stop a pickup truck for speeding on U.S. 60 E around midnight Wednesday.

They say the driver of the truck, 21-year-old Tabitha Ray, tried to flee and a pursuit began.

The sheriff's office says the pursuit started in the 6000 block of U.S. 60 E and continued into the 10000 block, reaching speeds of up to 105 mph.

Ray was arrested on multiple charges, including Fleeing or Evading Police and Reckless Driving.

She is being held at the Henderson County Detention Center without bond.
