GLENDALE, KY (WAVE) - A Tennessee woman has been identified as the victim of a deadly three-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 in Hardin County on Sunday.
Kentucky State Police said Miranda M. Flowers, 42, and her husband Gerald Flowers Jr., 43, both of Darden, TN, were traveling south on I-65 when for unknown reasons, traffic began to slow near the Glendale exit. The Flowerses both attempted to swerve the Harley Davidson motorcycles they were driving to avoid hitting a Ford Expedition driven by Angela J. Mitchell, 33, of Louisville. Police said Miranda Flowers hit the back of the Expedition, causing her motorcycle to overturn. Gerald Flowers, struck the motorcycle driven by his wife. He was then ejected from the motorcycle he was operating.

Miranda Flowers was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hardin County coroner. Gerald Flowers was flown by helicopter to University of Louisville Hospital where he was listed in critical condition on Tuesday.
Mitchell was uninjured.
