I-65 south near Glendale exit reopens after deadly crash in Hardin County

GLENDALE, KY (WAVE) - All southbound lanes of Interstate 65 reopened about seven hours after a deadly motorcycle accident shut them down at the 85 mile marker in Hardin County on Saturday.

The crash happened about 2:15 p.m. Sunday between the Glendale and Sonora exits.

According to Kentucky State Police, one person was killed at the scene. A second man is in critical condition at University of Louisville Hospital.

The names of the victims have not been released. Troopers plan to provide details about the cause of the crash on Monday.

The interstate reopened just after 9 p.m. on Sunday.
