DUBOIS CO., IN (WFIE) - The Dubois County Council has approved funding to expand the Huntingburg Airport.
$450,000 will be used to build a new hangar. The airport will have to come up with another $90,000 it will take to build.
Airport manager Travis McQueen says the building is a necessity and he's very thankful for the county's contribution.
He says the airport and hangar are used by people from as far away as Henderson.
McQueen says construction on the new hangar will start in late summer.
