INDIANAPOLIS, IN (AP) -

Does your child have an interest in crime-fighting and need something to do this summer?

Indiana State Police are offering a series of summer youth camps throughout the state which open June 12.

Kids will get to watch demonstrations by the state police SWAT team and bomb squad, divers and crime scene technicians.

The camps are open to students entering grades 5 - 13.  They must be recommended for the highest level called Pioneer Campouts.

The 11 camps are held at universities and state parks throughout Indiana, including USI, Notre Dame, Anderson University, New Harmony State Park and  Mounds State Park.
