VANDERBURGH CO., IN (WFIE) - If you heard the storm sirens sound in Vanderburgh County around 11:50 a.m. on Monday, you were not hearing things.
The EMA was trying to resolve an issue with the siren at Lynch and Maxx Road.
Since the siren would not respond by itself, the EMA set off all the sirens in Vanderburgh County.
There was no weather threat.
They say the siren is right outside the Evansville Fire Department's Station #2 and that the power for the station came back on around 9 p.m. Sunday night after being out.
Vectren tells us the siren at Lynch and Maxx is now working properly.
