CLARK COUNTY, IN (WAVE) - A burst of isolated storms dropped hail on parts of southern Indiana Saturday afternoon.
Quarter-size hail covered the ground in areas of Clark and Floyd Counties between 1 and 2 p.m.
WAVE 3 News Storm Tracking Team Meteorologist Andy Weingarten said just enough sunshine peaked through after a round of morning storms to cause the afternoon weather event.
Andy said he is watching one more band of storms that could hit areas to the south of Louisville this evening such as Hardin and Nelson Counties.
