MUHLENBERG CO., KY (WFIE) - An investigation leads to the arrest of a man by Kentucky State Police on charges related to child exploitation.

State Police say they received information last week that a man was sending sexually explicit text messages and images to an underage girl in Muhlenberg County.

The man was on his way to meet the girl when he was stopped by a trooper in Mason County, Kentucky.

State Police charged 35-year-old Jonathan Saigeon of Grand Rapids, Michigan, with unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities and distribution of obscene matter to minors.

The arrest citation says Saigeon is employed by the "Save a Life" tour out of Grand Rapids. The group calls itself a "National high impact alcohol awareness program" that visits colleges, universities, high schools and military events nationwide.

Saigeon is in the Mason County Detention Center.
