CHANDLER, IN (WFIE) - Warrick County Awareness will be collecting items to help victims of the recent tornadoes.
The donation drive will take place on Saturday, May 3, from 6:00 am to 1:00 p.m. at the Chandler Community Center at 405 E. Washington Street in Chandler.

The following items are needed:
Leather gloves, shovels, rakes, Thermoses, batteries, flashlights, coffee pots, coffee, antibiotic cream, Band-aids, first aid kits, personal hygiene items, bottled hand soap/hand sanitizer, bath towels and wash cloths, baby formula, baby wipes, baby diapers, pull ups, baby food (no glass jars), baby spoons, baby bottles, Depends for adults, toilet paper, paper towels, Styrofoam cups, cleaning supplies (such as bleach, mops, brooms and buckets), plastic utensils, paper plates, disposable gloves, heavy trash bags, pet food, plastic containers, blankets, bottled water, Gatorade, non-perishable foods, coloring books, Crayons and children's books.
The group is also collecting plastic totes to transport the collected items.
Powerline Trucking and the Chandler Kiwanis Club are contributing to this effort.
