Fmr. UE basketball player arrested

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

A former University of Evansville basketball player is facing burglary charges after he is accused of stealing food and drinks from a concession stand on campus.

According to police documents, James Tyler Ptacek broke windows at the Carson Center and the concession stand at the field house building.  

The 20-year-old was arrested Sunday at his dorm. 

Ptacek was a freshman with the Aces, but had been granted a release from the team.
