LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Bullitt County man has been arrested in connection with a burglary that took place in St. Matthews after he pawned an item taken during the crime.

An arrest warrant charges Joshua W. Hall, 22, with receiving stolen property. The warrant says Hall pawned a Stihl chainsaw that was taken during a burglary on in the 3800 block of Plymouth Road.

According to the warrant Hall presented his identification at Mister Money when the item was pawned on April 14. St. Matthews police were able to match it to the burglary by serial numbers provided by the victim.

In addition to the chainsaw, a Stihl gas blower was also pawned by Hall on the same ticket. Police said that was apparently taken during a separate theft and its serial numbers matched information provided by the owner.
