HENDERSON, KY (WFIE) - The Henderson Tri-Fest is underway.
It's one of the largest events of its kind in Kentucky and raises thousands of dollars for area charities.
There's food, entertainment and a lot of people watching along the riverfront.
The Henderson Breakfast Lions Club started Tri-Fest, and local veterans are among the many groups raising money for a good cause.
"We started a food bank for the areas homeless vets and we're not just talking about the Evansville, Henderson, Owensboro area but a little bit larger than that so we're trying to collect can goods as much as we can," said James Henager, National Veterans Memorial.
Tri-Fest runs through Sunday in downtown Henderson.
