Rally against racism in Vanderburgh Co.

The YWCA and USI's Center for Social Justice partnered to take a stand against racism during a rally on Friday.

Student organizations ran tables and information booths.

Some students passed through on the way to class.

Those who stayed heard a jazz band and poems read by Professor Marcus Wicker.

Wicker says he's proud USI hosted the rally, "I think there's a need for something like this everywhere, at campuses across the country.  But I'm throroughly excited that USI has taken this on, yeah."

Those who attended the rally got "racism hurts everyone" stickers to help spread the message across campus.
