2 IU basketball players arrested by excise police

BLOOMINGTON, IN (AP) -

Two members of the Indiana University Men's Basketball team were arrested early Friday morning by Indiana State Excise Police. 

Police say Kevin 'Yogi' Farrell and Stanford Robinson allegedly tried to get into Kilroy's Sports Bar located at 319 North Walnut in Bloomington using false ID's.  

Officers working inside the bar say they realized the ID's were fake.

Farrell and Robinson are preliminarily charged with minor consumption of an alcoholic beverage and possession of a false ID

They were issued summonses and released.  Both are set to appear in Monroe County Court on Sunday.
