Hoses Hockey to play in benefit match tonight

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Hoses Hockey is preparing for their match-up tonight against the St. Louis Fire on Ice.

Firefighters are trying to raise some money to help out a McCutchanville firefighter whose house burned down last year.

Paul Carr, a player on the team, says the firefighter has been on the force for 25 years and deserves some help from the community.

Some Evansville IceMen will also make an appearance at the game, which starts at 7 p.m. at Swonder Ice Arena. Tickets are $10.

As of Thursday, Hoses Hockey had already sold 300 tickets. They hope to sell 700 more.
