Mudslide destroys Carroll County home

CARROLL COUNTY, KY (FOX19) -

A mudslide has destroyed a vacant home in Carroll County.

Crews responded to the scene on Friday around 9:30 a.m. An adjacent home has been evacuated as a precaution, according to officials.

Kentucky 36 West is shut down between 42 West, 36 West and Milton.

Heavy rains have caused mudslide conditions around the Tri-State. A Covington road was shut down on Friday after a mudslide destroyed a retaining wall.
