EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Evansville Police responded to an armed robbery at a gas station Wednesday evening.

We're told a 15-year-old boy went into a Chuckles gas station on S. Weinbach with a hammer and demanded money.

We're told the manager walked in and refused to give him any money.

Police tell us the teen was sitting in a van with an adult that was unaware of what was happening when police arrived.

No injuries are being reported.

Officials say the teen has been taken into custody.
