A pre-fight face-off took place on Friday night as contenders are getting ready for Guns and Hoses. The boxers came face to face, giving them a chance to size up their opponent.
They took turns stepping up on the scale and showing off their physique.
Tickets are already on sale for the big event. All of the money raised goes to 911 Gives Hope, a charity that helps children around the community.
"They're children. There's not a lot they can do about their situation, be it cancer, diabetes, anything for Riley's Hospital. They can't help their situation generally, so they need people to help them," said Clint Hoskins, who's on the Hoses team.
While those participating say boxing is a good time, they say the best part of being in the match is knowing they're giving back.
"It's incredibly humbling. Our pain is their gain and every one of us, we fight hard, and it takes a lot of time, a lot of effort, a lot of blood, sweat and tears into it. Every guy that steps up and gets in the ring puts their heart and soul into it, so like I said, it's for a great organization, great thing," said Brandon Rolley with the Guns.
The match is set for Saturday April 12th at 7:00 p.m. at the Ford Center. Anyone interested in buying tickets to the big match can click here.
