LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police increased patrols at Mall St. Matthews Friday after receiving information that teenagers were planning to skip school and cause problems at the shopping mall.
St. Matthews Police Det. Dennis McDonald said the move was precautionary. McDonald said there have been no problems at Mall St. Matthews, police do not anticipate any problems.
The decision comes almost a week after a mob of teens terrorized downtown Louisville.
