WARRICK CO., IN (WFIE) -

An accident in Warrick county sends two people to the hospital Tuesday morning. One person is listed in critical condition.

Indiana State Police responded to the accident two miles north of Boonville on State Road 61 at New Harmony Rd.

Investigators say 51-year-old Robert Dayson of Evansville was traveling eastbound on New Harmony Rd and failed to see a dump truck traveling south on SR 61.

Officials say the dump truck, driven by 68-year-old William Holloway of Monroe City, struck Dayson's door on the driver side, and pushed both vehicles almost 150 feet and off the east side of the road.

Both drivers were transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville.

Dayson is listed in critical condition.

Holloway suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Warrick County Sheriff's Office, Boonville Fire Department, and St. Mary's Warrick EMS all assisted in the accident.
