Police investigating two different shots fired runs

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

The investigation continues into shots being fired at two different locations in downtown Evansville.

No on was hurt, but some residents tell 14 News that they're pretty shaken up.

Police say the first shooting happened early Friday, around 4:00 p.m., in the 600 block of Taylor Avenue. Police say the called reported that two people fire two shots at her car.

One woman in the area says she did not hear the gun shots, but she has heard them before, so many that her niece thought the shots were firecrackers.

Around 11:00 p.m., police say shots were fire again, but this time the bullets hit a house. Police say that incident happened in the 400 block of East Michigan Street. Police say three bullets hit the side of the house, very close to the door.

Officers say people were inside when the bullets hit the house, but no one was injured. 

Both of the incidents are still under investigation.
