Take a bite out of crime in Hopkins Co. by ordering pizza

HOPKINS CO., KY (WFIE) -

If you live in Hopkins County, you can take a bite out of crime by just ordering dinner.

The Hopkins County Attorney's Office is going after those who have failed to pay child support payments by putting their faces on pizza boxes.

"I have over 5,000 cases here in Hopkins County and we take the collection of child support very seriously for moms and dads," says Hopkins County Attorney Todd P'Pool.

Several Madisonville restaurants are participating by posting the pictures, age, weight and amount owed by the person.

"We are doing what we can to collect child support and it brings people around to focus on that. It's not something you think about unless you are personally involved with it," says Shaun McEntire, the child support unit director.

Officials conducted the same pizza box criminal campaign in 2011 with several arrests.
