SPENCER CO., IN (WFIE) -

Indiana State Police say a driver who didn't stop at a stop light caused a two-vehicle crash in Spencer County that injured five people.

It happened Friday afternoon at State Route 66 near County Road 275 W in Reo.

Troopers say 22-year-old Farah Smith of Grandview was headed east on State Route 66 when she disregarded a red light and her SUV hit a truck driven by 39-year-old Jonathan Gunn of Rockport.

The impact pushed Gunn's truck off the road and into a culvert.

Smith and her three passengers, as well as Gunn, were taken the hospital complaining of pain.

Troopers say Smith was issued a citation for disregarding an automatic signal.
