There's another delay in planned renovations for the old McCurdy building in downtown Evansville.
Building Commissioner Ben Miller says the city is anxious to see the project move forward.
A lawyer for the Kunkel Group was at the building commission meeting Thursday afternoon.
He says Kunkel is finishing plans for the McCurdy building and hopes to submit them soon.
"We're really trying to work with them to make this project happen from our end but at the same time we're trying, through these hearing processes, to make sure they know that the city is adamant that they need to move this project forward and I think they're doing that," said Miller.
Plans include 113 upscale apartments, a restaurant, and a pub.
Kunkel's attorney says plans will be submitted for city and state approval within two weeks.
