Man accused of starting fire in his own garage sentenced to 8 years

A 14 News Update on a fire we told you about in August in Posey County.

The man accused of starting that fire has been sentenced to eight years in prison.

According to the Posey County Prosecutor, 49-year-old Glenn Reich admitted to manufacturing meth in the home.

Authorities say Reich told them he ransacked his home and threw a jar of gasoline into the garage because he was quote "mad and depressed".

Authorities say an anhydrous ammonia tank, used to make meth was in the garage and exploded, causing the fire.
