Third suspect in Evansville murder sentenced

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - The third person convicted in an Evansville murder has been sentenced.

James Mayhugh received 50 years for murder and one for theft.

Mayhugh pleaded guilty last year in the 2012 death of Keith Vaughn.

His cousin, Hubert Mayhugh, was convicted last November and sentenced to 60 years in prison.

Keith Vaughn's estranged wife, Megan Mecum, was convicted last December and sentenced to 55 years in prison.
