A Daviess County man is arrested in Ohio County after an eight month investigation evolved around the distribution of large amounts of anabolic steroids.
Ohio County Sheriff's Office detectives learned about a sale that was planned to take place in the Pleasant Ridge Area.
Authorities arrested 37-year-old Douglas Vance after detectives and deputies watched a drug transaction take place in the parking lot of Mitchell's Market.
Officials say Vance consented a search of his home in Daviess County. That's where Daviess County Sheriff's deputies found more anabolic steroids.
He was charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance in Ohio County.
He also faces felony charges in Daviess County.
Vance was taken to the Ohio County Detention Center.
