Evansville officials investigate multiple car vandalisms

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Evansville Police at investigating reports of vandalism to vehicles.

One family tells us it's going to cost over $1,000 to fix the damage.

The victim's family says a large rock dented the outside of their car, shattered the back window, and hit the gear shift inside.

Police say there have been similar cases where cars are vandalized with rocks, beer bottles, and a type of plastic stick.

There is no word whether these acts of vandalism are related.
