Evansville Police have located an 11-year-old boy who went missing overnight.
Officials say Caleb Christian got into a verbal argument with his mom Saturday night. When she woke up Sunday morning, Caleb was gone.
Through the help of social media and the community, Caleb has been reunited with his family.
Caleb said he woke up around 5:00 Sunday morning and left their house on Second Ave with a tent in hand. Caleb went into a wooded area of Allen's Lane where he ended up taking a nap.
Caleb woke up hungry and being new to the area, he didn't know how to get home.
A couple driving by saw him and contacted police.
Caleb was reunited with his family nearly 12 hours after he left.
"I can't describe how it felt," said Caleb's mom, Chylenna Gibbs. "I was so glad that somebody had found my child safe and alive. I can't explain it."
Chylenna says she would love to meet and thank the couple who found her son.
