A court hearing between Kentucky State Representative Ben Waide and his business partners at Liberty Rehabilitation wrapped up Friday night.
We've learned both sides have agreed to have Waide's salary immediately suspended from Liberty Rehab and relinquish control of the finances.
The Kentucky lawmaker is accused of misusing his company's finances for personal use and financing his campaign.
Waide's attorney, Todd P'Pool, says Waide did not steal any money. He says Waide put all the bills on his personal credit card.
Both sides will meet again in six weeks to discuss how to move forward about the alleged misuse of finances by Waide.
