A western Kentucky boy is getting ready to head back to school on Monday after being away for more than a year.
Tyler Foster is a 13-year-old in remission who was diagnosed with bone cancer in January 2012.
Tyler's grandmother says he had leg pain that doctors believed was growing pains but it turned out to be osteosarcoma.
He was treated at Kosair and received his last chemo treatment in December 2013.
Tyler's family says he has a titanium rod in his leg and no longer needs a cane to walk.
