Authorities make an interesting and "big" discovery in Webster County.
Officials with the Department of Fish & Wildlife say last Wednesday (Feb. 26) an 8-foot boa constrictor was found near Clay on Hwy 493.
They were notified by a driver who saw the snake laying dead on the curb.
Officials say it looks like the snake was originally in a trash bag and scavengers had removed the snake from the bag to feed on it.
Authorities speculate that the snake died in captivity and was dumped.
