Foggy, still slick
We are getting reports that some freezing fog has moved into the area. It's not only reducing visibility, but also making some already slick roadways even more dangerous. Once the fog lifts, we will have partly cloudy skies today as temperatures warm up a little this afternoon topping out near 40°. Meteorologist David Wire, in for Byron Douglas, will have the very latest information on Sunrise. Emily Busby will also have the latest on the fog live from Owensboro.
Some school systems are closed again today, while others are on a delay. We'll keep you posted, and let you know if additional delays come in.
Despite the snow and ice, it's severe weather season and tornado drills are taking place to help get folks prepared. We'll have the latest on that.
Warhol at USI
There are just a few more days to see work by the famous American artist, Andy Warhol, on display now at the University of Southern Indiana. We also welcome a new member to the Sunrise family Deanna Allbrittin, who will be live on the USI campus to tell us all about it.
So enjoy your Wednesday, and we'll see you on Sunrise.
