Perry Central High School has been awarded $100,000 by the Indiana Department of Education, to expand its digital learning capability.
The school's e-learning coach Phil Zellers says the school was one of 20 schools selected to receive the grant. He says the money will be used to extend the school's one-to-one student laptop initiative, and to further develop teachers' digital learning capabilities.
"We're very excited to have this opportunity. We think it's the next step in us moving our digital learning forward. This initiative will hopefully allow students to bring the joy back in learning and to be passionate about school," Zellers says.
