Ohio County Treasurer's Office employee arrested

A receptionist with Ohio County Treasurer's Office is charged with fraudulent use of a credit card.

The Ohio County Sheriff's Office arrested 42-year-old Ronda Spencer of Beaver Dam on Friday.

The Sheriff's Office says the Ohio County Treasurer was doing a routine audit and found some discrepancies on a county credit card.

Authorities say it appears Spencer charged over $2,000 on the county credit card, but since the investigation is ongoing they say they could uncover more.

The Sheriff's Office says Spencer bought food from Wal-Mart and a camera from Best Buy on the county credit card.
