Improvements are around the corner, but colder than average temperatures are back and they will stick around for a few days. Temperatures will only top out near 30° today with a light southeast wind under partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows tonight will drop into the mid to upper teens before topping out near 40° Wednesday afternoon. A mixture of sunshine and a few clouds will be around this week as well. Meteorologist David Wire is in for Byron again this morning with the 14 First Alert forecast.
Main roads should be fine but secondary untreated roadways will continue to be slick as ice remains under the snow pack. Erin Meyer and Emily Busby will bring us up to speed with live reports on Sunrise.
We expect to learn more today on the arrest of a man charged with killing a customer at the Double Dukes Saloon in Henderson over the weekend. 38 year old Robert Brantley, who was working security at the saloon was taken into custody last night charged with the murder of Adam Hogan.
Evansville fire crews responded to a blaze inside Tri-state Resource Recovery in the 1500 block of Harriet around 10 Monday night. We'll have the details.
