We've had a lull in the wintry precip for the middle portion of Sunday, but another round of sleet and snow will sweep in later tonight through early Monday.
Most of the area will pick up at least 2-3" of snow, with some local areas receiving 4-6".
Most of the Tri-State has already picked up around an inch of sleet and freezing rain, with ice accumulations on trees and power lines.
Winds will pick up tonight, and this will likely cause additional power outages.
Snow should taper off by late Monday morning, and then skies will start to clear in the afternoon.
Temperatures will remain well below normal, with tonight's low dropping down into the middle teens.
Monday will be frigid as well, with afternoon temps running in the low 20's.
We'll gradually thaw out on Wednesday, and temps will push toward 50-degrees by Friday.
