Barnes Air National Guard base held a change of command ceremony on Saturday afternoon and honored two former political leaders in the area.

Col. James Keefe, commander of the 104th Fighter Wing, honored both former U.S. Rep. John Olver and former State Sen. Mike Knapik.

Each received proclamations, making them honorary members of the 104th for all of the work they have done to help the base over the years.

Prior to their honors, Lt. Col. Ann Ware took over the post of commander of the wing's mission support group.
