Drivers many soon see some new road signs in Hopkins County, warning them of rough roads ahead from this harsh winter.
On Wednesday, crews began placing "Caution break in pavement" on roads where a large number of potholes have ravaged the pavement.
The county says crews are trying to keep up with the demand, drivers say it's hard to avoid them.
"This winter has really done a number on the roadways. There's a whole lot of potholes, the roads are really rough. We're seeing much larger potholes than normal, it's really rough on the tires, not good at all," said Ashley Marks.
Road crews say it's hard to keep up when winter weather keeps rolling in.
