Boonville High School is used for 'active shooter' training for multiple local law enforcement agencies overnight.
Training began Wednesday and continued until early Thursday morning.
Training Officer Geofrey North says the event helps provide training for county officers as well as other agencies within the county.
The night began with a presentation and ended with exercises involving 'simu-nition' - actual firearms that shoot colored sap projectile.
North says he has one goal in mind for any future training.
"I want to see everybody work together as a team because in an incident such as this you're going to have people from all over coming together," he said. "And we can get people from other counties as well. But if we can work together within the county then we'll be better prepared for any incident that happens."
Four agencies including the Warrick County Sheriff's Office and Newburgh Police Department were involved in the training.
