People wanting to have their criminal records cleared learned how to do so Saturday in Evansville.
Local attorneys shared details of the 'Second Chance Law' that took effect July 2013.
It's meant to give people an opportunity to lead a normal life.
Officials say in the past two months at least 30 people have had their criminal charges cleared from their records.
"If you have something that is in your past that is decades ago and have been leading a life that is productive and you haven't been committing crimes, then it is something you want to come and take a look at," said Vanderburgh County Prosecutor Nicholas Hermann.
For more information on the process, contact a local attorney or the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor's Office.
