Student charged in attack on Daviess Co. school officials, sheriff's deputy

A Daviess County, Kentucky high school student is charged with assault for allegedly attacking two school officials and a sheriff's deputy.

The incident happened Tuesday around noon.

Dispatchers confirm the student was being disruptive and throwing punches in the classroom.

They say a deputy had to tase the student in order to get the situation under control.

The student was taken to the juvenile detention center in Bowling Green and is charged with three counts of third degree assault.
